Remove a network bridge
If your computer is connected to a network, network policy settings might prevent you from completing these steps.
- Open Network Connections by clicking the Start button , clicking Control Panel, clicking Network and Internet, clicking Network and Sharing Center, and then clicking Manage network connections.
- Right-click the network bridge that you want to remove, and then click Delete. If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
Warning
If you remove a network bridge, computers on one network might not be able to communicate with those on another network. Also, if your Internet connection is on one network and your computer is on another network, some of your computers won't be able to connect to the Internet once you have removed the bridge.
